    2. Choose the cryptocurrency type you want, and then select Buy or Sell.

    4. Choose your currency from the Preferred currency drop-down list.

    5. Choose the Regions from the list below.

    6. Check if all details are correct and click Next step to proceed.

    7. For further configuration, follow these guides starting from Step 2:

  • Special Offer

Special offers are a type of a trade which is sent to specific trade partners. Unlike classic offers, Special offers can only be accepted by the person it was sent to. All trades are protected by escrow, so if your trade ends up in a dispute, a moderator will step in.

When should I use a special offer?

A few examples of using special offers include:

    • Trading with someone you know personally, but still want the security of escrow.
    • Repeating a trade but with slightly different terms.
    • Sending a counter offer with adjusted terms.
    • Giving your trade partner a discount compared to your classic offer.
    • Sending a private offer that you don’t want to be seen publicly.
How can I create a special offer?
    1. Start by sending your trade partner a message in the chat. You can send a message from their profile (click ‘Start Chat’).
    2. Once you’ve agreed on a trade, click the plus button next to where you enter messages and choose ‘Special Offer’.
    3. If your account is not verified to create offers, follow the instructions to complete verification.
    4. After that, you will see the form to create a special offer. From there, you can customize your trade requirements including trade type, payment method, amount, margin etc.
    5. Once the special offer is created, you and your trade partner can view the offer terms and can start the trade. Please note that the cryptocurrency rate is locked once the offer is created. If the market rate changes significantly after you’ve created your offer, you can cancel it and create a new one.
What if I received a special offer?
    1. Make sure you agree with the terms with your trade partner before starting the trade.
    2. If you don’t agree with the terms do not start the trade. You can talk to your trade partner about adjusting the terms in the chat if necessary. You can also send a counter-offer yourself (check out how to create a special offer above).
    3. Once you agree to the  terms, click ‘Start trade’.
    4. From there, you’ll be redirected to the trade chat to complete the trade. Please note that the contents of the trade chat are visible to Noones moderators. Only send payment confirmations, gift card numbers and other trade-related information in the Noones trade chat, or our moderators may not be able to help in case of a dispute.
    5. If the trade is successful, you’ll be redirected back to the private chat. If you need to trade again, you can create a new special offer.
    6. If the trade results in a dispute, a Noones moderator will step in to help. Please note: the moderator will not see your private chat, they will only see the special offer terms and the trade chat, so make sure that the terms always reflect the actual trade.

You can also share your updated offer on your social media accounts and via email.

That’s it! You have now successfully edited your offer.

  • How can I lift a restriction on my payment method?

To help make the marketplace a safer environment, Noones has placed restrictions on some payment methods in certain countries. You won't be able to create a new offer or start a new trade using restricted payment methods. If you have current offers using restricted payment methods, those offers will be deauthorized.

If you are temporarily living or traveling in a country where a payment method is restricted, but you have proof that the payment method belongs to you, please:

    1. Take a screenshot of the account that displays your name
    2. Provide proof that you are only temporarily in a restricted country, and proof of address or documentation from your country of origin
    3. Send the screenshots of the documents to our support team through our automated website helper. You can check this article, How to Contact Support.

Our team will review your information and contact you if they have additional questions.

  • Why Was My Offer Removed?

Sometimes, an offer will be removed from the marketplace because it may harm the Noones community that buys and sells cryptocurrencies.

Here’s a short list explaining why offers are removed from the Noones marketplace:

      • Changing the terms and instructions - Do not change the terms and instructions you agreed to with your trade partner after the trade has started.
      • Sharing contact information - Do not attempt to communicate outside of Noones’s trade chat with your trade partner. Giving out personal information is how fraud and identity theft start. This includes WhatsApp, Telegram, phone numbers, email, etc.
      • Being unresponsive with your trade partners - Do not create an offer and then become unresponsive with your trade partner once the trade is initiated.
      • Being disrespectful - Do not use any profanity, hate speech, and other offensive or vulgar messaging in your offer. Noones has a zero tolerance policy for this type of behavior.
      • Payment method was restricted - Offers can be removed from the marketplace because the payment method selected has been restricted in your location. For more information, take a look at this article.
      • Violation of Noones’ Terms of Service - If there’s a violation of Noones’ Terms of Service, your offer may be removed.

If our system detects that your offer has a very low chance of success (e.g. extremely high margins), your offer may not be visible to other users. We recommend looking at the best offers and model your offers after them. Because the algorithm takes current market conditions into account, this is something you may have to calibrate regularly to increase or maintain the visibility of your offer.

I understand why my offer was removed, what are my next steps?

In most cases, you’ll receive a gentle warning about your offer and why it was removed. You’ll be expected to turn your offer on again and update the terms and instructions so it doesn’t fit the criteria mentioned above. Additional actions may be taken for severe or repeat offenses, such as being banned from Noones or restricting the payment method.

I understand why my offer was removed and now I can’t create a new offer using the same payment method, what are my next steps now?

Please contact our support team so we can help get this payment method reinstated for you. Our Marketplace investigations team will verify the request and ensure your account is in good standing before granting access.

  • How Do Margins Work?

Margins are the difference between your offer price relative to the Bitcoin market price. It determines how much you stand to earn or lose in a trade.

    What are margins?

Margins are a way to set your offer price above or below the market price. They allow users to add a type of sellers’ or buyers’ “fee” when making a trade.

How do margins relate to selling crypto?

When selling crypto, a positive margin (+) gives you profit since you are asking a trader to buy your crypto at a higher price than the current market price. When you sell crypto at a negative margin (-), this will lower your profit since you are asking to sell your crypto at a rate lower than the market price.

How do margins relate to buying crypto?

When buying crypto, a positive margin (+) means that you’re buying crypto at a price higher than the market price, and a negative margin (-) means that you’re buying crypto at a lower price than the market. Buying crypto with a negative margin (-) typically means you save money.

    What are margin limits?

Noones has margin limits for offers to maintain trade balance on the marketplace and prevent market manipulations.
These limits apply for offers to both buy and sell cryptocurrency. Limits differ for payment groups as well as specific payment methods.
We have divided the limits into 2 tiers. Trader Program badge owners have access to higher margin limits.

    How it works:

    1. Start by creating an offer by clicking on the Create an Offer button at the top of the page.

    2. After you decide to sell or buy crypto, and after you select a payment method, go to the trade pricing section.

    3. When setting up your trade, you will see a section called Offer Margin

      Note:

Offer Margins are done in percentages not in specific currency amounts.

    4. You can make your Offer Margin either a positive (+) or negative (-)  percentage.

    5. There are two options when making your Offer Margin. The first is the basic version - Market price, where you only decide on your percent Offer Margin. The other option is Fixed price version, where you lock price and we it will not change with the market price.

    6. After you complete the above steps, that’s it! You’ve successfully finished making your Offer Margin. You can continue filling out the rest of your offer like you normally would.
  • Writing Good Offer Terms

On Noones, you can create your own offers that suit your requirements and define your own set of terms and conditions for these offers. The offer terms are a short description of your requirements related to that offer, that are shown to your trade partner, before the trade starts. Offer terms are added in the third step of the offer creation flow. The key to creating good offer terms is being short and concise about what you expect from your trade partner. Here are some tips for writing good offer terms.

Note: Before you begin, make sure that your offer terms are in line with Noones's Terms of Service.

    Offer tags

You can choose offer tags while creating an offer. These tags are basically keywords that appear on the public listing and can help draw attention to your offer at the very beginning. Use these offer tags wisely to give more details to your potential trade partner quickly, and to nudge them towards starting a trade with you.

Here are some examples of tags that might help the trade partner understand what you need: “ID required”, “Cash only”, “Receipt required”.

    Short and concise descriptions

The aim of the offer terms is to make sure that the trade partner understands how they need to pay you before the trade begins. If the offer terms are not clear and easy to understand, users will likely cancel the trade as they may not be sure of the process. If the offer terms are too long, the user may either cancel the trade or start it without reading them. If your offer terms are short, clear and easy to understand, you will make it very easy for your trade partners. Try to be specific and to the point without overwhelming the trade partner.

    What not to do:

    1. Don’t suggest trading off-escrow. Any suggestions to trade outside the platform are strictly forbidden and will get you banned from Noones.
    2. Don’t mention personal contact information in your offer terms.
    3. Don’t give links to external sites or share URLs.

    Examples

    Examples of good offer terms:

  • How can I make my offer appear higher in the marketplace?

Offer rankings are determined by a variety of factors to ensure we can make Noones a fair and safe marketplace for all users. Here are some of the things that can help get your offer higher on the list:

    • Have positive feedback from trade partners - The higher the number of positive feedback you gain from your trade partners the better it is for you and your offers.
    • Trade frequently with different partners - The more you use Noones, the more opportunities you have for positive feedback.
    • Be online — Being online shows you are ready to trade at a moment’s notice and this is something that is appreciated on our platform.
    • Don't use absurd margin rates in fixed rate offers (not allowed for new offers creation in the given PM)

Here’s some additional information on how to improve your trading experience by following our rules for selling cryptocurrency and tips for buying cryptocurrency.

  • Which of my offers will show up in public listings?

You may create as many offers as you like. But only one of them will appear in the marketplace if you have more than one offer with the same offer type, payment method, and currency. Our system will automatically choose the most profitable margin for your potential trade partners, and that's the offer that will be shown to the public.

    Example:

You have two offers to sell Bitcoin with bank transfers and USD:

    1. An offer with a margin of 15%.
    2. An offer with a margin of 5%.

The second offer will be shown in the public listing.

You have two offers to buy Bitcoin for bank transfers and USD:

    1. An offer with a margin of 15%.
    2. An offer with a margin of 5%.

The first offer will be shown in the public listing.

    Note:

    • To make another offer visible in the public listing, please deactivate the visible offer.
    • You can have numerous offers for the same payment method visible if each one of them has a different currency.
    • This rule was implemented to prevent market manipulations on our platform.

Bitcoin prices vary on each exchange platform. However, Noones provides users with the flexibility to set Bitcoin rates for their offers. Creating an offer on Noones has an option to choose a market source of Bitcoin rate and an option to select a price point

When you create an offer to buy or sell bitcoin, you can decide whether to use the regular rate offered by Noones or select one of the most popular exchange platforms from the list in the drop-down list. The price point is also flexible.

Offer bitcoin price = source price + margin %

On step 2 (Profit margin and trade limits) of the offer creation flow, do the following:

    1. Click Switch to advanced mode under Percent above market rate your offer will list at.

    2. Once the Advanced mode section appears, select an exchange platform from the Custom Price source drop-down list.

    3. Then select a price point from the Select a price point to use drop-down list.

Your custom bitcoin price is now set, then you can continue on with the offer creation flow.

Note: You can always switch back to simplified offer flow by clicking Switch to simple mode.
